We provide the following HR Support Services:-

HR Hotline

For a fixed annual fee we will provide you with HR advice by telephone to help you deal with your HR problems.  We will also check correspondence for you.  As part of the package we can also carry out an audit of your employment contracts and associated policies to ensure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.  

Key features of the HR Hotline service are as follows:-
  • Practical and commercial advice tailored to your business
  • Follow-up email confirming key points of advice
  • A guaranteed response within four hours
  • Direct dial and personal mobile numbers and personal email access for your contact
  • Advice line open 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Annual contract, subject to a month’s notice at the end of the contract period
Optional extras that can be built into this service include:-
  • Initial site visit to get to know you and your business
  • Document audit – getting to know you and making sure your employment documents are up-to-date and fit for purpose
  • Discounts offered on training courses (see our Training page)
Pricing for this service will depend mainly upon the number of employees you have but also whether you wish to add on any of the optional extras to the basic service.

As a rough guide, pricing for the basic service without extras will be as follows:-

Fees are payable monthly in arrears and are subject to annual review.

This service is designed for the provision of telephone advice only.  Clients who require HR support on a project-specific basis are referred to the section immediately below on HR Consultancy services.

HR Consultancy

We are also happy to provide HR consultancy services on a project-specific or interim basis.  The work we do here can range from supplementing the resources of an in-house team to providing specialist advice as and when required.  Examples of the type of work we do here are:-
  • project managing change initiatives such as TUPE transfers, restructurings, redundancies
  • carrying out workplace investigations (grievances, conduct issues)
  • helping you manage disciplinary and performance cases
  • reviewing and updating your employment documents (contracts, policies)
Our hourly charge-out rate for HR Consultancy services is currently £200 plus VAT and expenses.  We are also happy to discuss fixed fee arrangements.

Bespoke Employment Documents

As well as offering various employment document templates for sale on our DocShop page, we also offer a Bespoke Employment Documents service.  We will work with you to develop a set of contracts and associated employment documentation (ranging from individual policies to a complete employee handbook) that is right for your business.  We are happy to offer workshops on an in-house basis on any bespoke employment documents that we produce for you (see our Training page).

As employment law is a rapidly evolving area of the law we also offer an updating service so you can ensure that your employment documents are up to date with the latest developments in case law and legislation.

Our hourly charge-out rate for producing bespoke employment documents is currently £200 plus VAT and any expenses.  We are also happy to discuss fixed fee arrangements.

Employment Law Support Services
 
We offer two types of employment law support service on a consultancy basis: our Full Employment Service and our PSL Extra Service. These services are offered to law firms, and in-house legal teams and HR departments. We have developed them in response to the market need for traditional support services to be made more cost-efficient and for existing support resources to be deployed in more client-focused ways. Additionally, or alternatively, we are happy to produce a “state of the nation” report for you which will outline our recommendations to enable you to streamline your existing know-how systems.
