Employment Law Training
 
We offer employment law training courses on an in-house basis, where we travel to you, and we also offer public courses from time to time.  We are happy to tailor our training courses to suit your own particular requirements.

Our courses are either half-, one- or two-day courses, depending on the topic and your requirements, and all our materials are regularly updated to reflect the latest developments in case law and legislation.  We will normally use case studies and role playing to aid discussion and reinforce learning.

In-House Training Courses

The courses set out below are all available.  We are happy to tailor each course to suit your own particular requirements.  If you are looking for a course which is not listed below, or if you would like us to combine elements of two or more of the courses listed, please let us know and we will be happy to design a course to fit your requirements.

We will work with you beforehand to finalise course content - taking into account your objectives, the duration of the course and who is being trained - and any particular training methods that you would like us to use (e.g. role play, case study, quizzes etc in addition to straightforward presentations).

Fees for each in-house course are as follows:-

Fees include the cost of training delivery, training materials and reasonable travel expenses incurred by the trainer and assume a maximum number of 15 delegates per course and that you are located in the UK.  We are happy to travel further afield to deliver training but we would expect you to bear the costs of any reasonable travelling expenses incurred in doing so.  Course fees may also be increased in such circumstances to reflect any increased time commitment involved.

Discounts are available for multiple bookings and/or where you subscribe to any of our other services. 

Document Workshops

We are happy to offer workshops on an in-house basis on any bespoke employment documents that we produce for you.  Pricing for the workshop element of this service will be the same as for in-house courses and subject to the same assumptions (see above).  Any bespoke employment documents that we produce for you will be charged for separately (see under Bespoke Employment Documents).  Examples of documents where these workshops can be particularly useful are as follows:-
  • Contracts of Employment/Service Agreements
  • Consultancy Agreements
  • Employment Policies and Associated Documents (e.g. disciplinary policy and employee communications)
  • Suite of Redundancy Documents (e.g. employee communications, selection matrices)
  • Settlement Agreements (formerly known as "compromise agreements")
